Zack & Miri Make a Porno - a Review

The latest release by The Weinsten Group and View Askew, brings Kevin Smith back to the directing helm. Zack & Miri (as I may refer to it through out this review) is a love story wrapped around a backdrop of a porn shoot.

When Zack & Miri's power and water are shut off because their minimum wage jobs are not cutting the bills the night of their high school reunion, the friends decide that if they were to make a porn to sell to their former classmates. But in typical Kevin Smith fashion, things don't go to plan, and hilarity ensues. Watch as relationships are forged, men are pegged and coupling is confused.

An Update And A Reflection

Submitted by steve on 29 October, 2008 - 19:57

So here I am looking at new layouts for P9TV and it seems to me that I am always adjusting the look of the site, never quite happy with the look, never quite happy with the usability of the site, and never quite happy with the traffic, true we get almost 500,000 visitors per month, but we should, in my opinion, have much more than that, 5 times that much easily, 10 times that much if I were to spend more time here. But I haven't been able to promote the site further, to get more to the site from search engines, from partners, from link services. But why hasn't it achieved its place as a community site? I think it has to do with a number of items, and here I am going to list them out for you in a very candid list, uncensored and unscripted.

Site Design Is Changing AGAIN

Submitted by steve on 23 October, 2008 - 18:53

Everyone, for the next couple of days you are going to see a stripped down P9TV as we shift the new design into the site, its plain right now, but its going to be much better, and much cleaner, this is a pure CSS style. And allows us to do alot more with the layout and the design. So please bear with us as we update and make the user experience much better.

I know over the last year you have seen the site get completely redesigned numerous times, but that is because we don't accept anything but the best for you, and that just hasn't been any of the designs, so they had to go.

Thanks to everyone of you!

iPhone 3G Review

Submitted by steve on 13 July, 2008 - 21:13

Hello true believers, its your friendly neighborhood word slinger here with the review for the latest offering from Apple, the iPhone 3G. As you have read I waited in line to get my hands on one for an early morning review, but wanted to give the phone a few days in my hands before I wrote anything down, to try and be objective, at least as much as I can be.

iPhone 3G released!

Submitted by steve on 12 July, 2008 - 06:41

Yesterday I stood in line with everyone else outside of an AT&T store in the early hours of the morning in order to secure myself an iPhone. And with great stress when the 'manager' said they had four left and me number 15 in line, began to sweat and start to contemplate what terrible things I would do to this man if I were forced to wait for this prize. I get into the store and see associates bringing out phones from the back and am stressing, thinking these are the last phones in the store and I will be left with my RAZR (the humanity). I get up to the counter, giddy like a school girl waiting for her first kiss, and tell the gentleman that I would like an iPhone.
